In-Person Counselling

in Bristol & North Somerset

Affordable face-to-face counselling with qualified, experienced counsellors

While many people choose online counselling for its flexibility and convenience, you may prefer the experience of meeting in person in a calm, private setting.

Our team offers some face-to-face counselling sessions in Bristol and North Somerset, as well as online counselling throughout the UK.

Our counsellors are all members of the BACP or NCPS and work from their own private therapy rooms in areas around Bristol, including Redland, Fishponds and Yatton.

Why choose in-person counselling?

For some people, face-to-face counselling simply feels easier or more comfortable.

Meeting in person can provide:

  • a dedicated space to process difficult emotions away from daily life
  • human connection and face-to-face contact
  • a strong sense of presence and feeling grounded
  • opportunity to pick up on body language and facial expressions
  • fewer distractions or interruptions
  • a break from screens and video calls

Others prefer online counselling, or a mixture of both depending on work, childcare, travel or energy levels. There is no “right” way to access counselling – the most important thing is finding support that feels appropriate, manageable and beneficial for you.

What we can help with

Our counsellors support clients with a wide range of issues, whether in person or online, including:

  • anxiety and overthinking
  • stress and burnout
  • low mood and depression
  • relationship difficulties
  • grief and bereavement
  • self-esteem and identity
  • neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism
  • life changes and feeling overwhelmed

You do not need to be in crisis to seek support. Many people come to counselling because something simply does not feel manageable anymore, or because they want space to better understand themselves and what they are experiencing.

Online or face-to-face counselling?

Some clients know immediately if they would prefer online or face-to-face counselling, while others are less sure at first. Others choose to access counselling both online and in person at different stages of therapy.

If you are unsure which approach may suit you best, we are happy to offer you our availability to both options.

How much are counselling sessions?

Our counselling sessions are priced to be as affordable and accessible as possible.

Online counselling sessions are £35 per hour. Face-to-face counselling sessions are £45 per hour.
